The Los Angeles Chargers and Chicago Bears have agreed on a trade that will send Bears pass rusher Khalil Mack to the Chargers in exchange for a second-round pick in 2022 and a sixth-round pick in 2023, per Ian Rapoport.
The Los Angeles Chargers are making moves to try and get ahead in the AFC West. Their defense was not good last season, despite having a defensive head coach, and they are using their offseason to address that. And edge defender of Joey Bosa was something they needed, and they get a great upgrade in Khalil Mack. They addressed their soft interior defensive line through signing Sebastian Joseph-Day. The entire AFC, but more specifically the AFC West has turned into an arms race and the Chargers do not want to be left behind.
