Adam Thielen is sick and tired of dealing with shitty Kirk Cousins. His comments last week made that sentiment loud and clear. After the Vikings beat the Giants this week, everything is sunshine and rainbows. Well, at least for now. Kirk Cousins says he loves his best friend Adam Thielen. He’s sorry for ever upsetting him.
Kirk Cousins called Adam Thielen his best friend and hopes he’s happy after the win over the Giants:
“I don’t know if I’ve ever had a closer friend in the league than Adam,” Cousins said, via Peter King of NBC’s Football Morning in America. “We sit together on planes. Our families are friendly. What’s funny is the comment Adam made after the game last week is the same one he’s said to me. He thought it was unrealistic to just run it and have that be all our offense. So I had the context. But I guess it took on a life of its own.”
The couple is happy for now. Well, I guess Thielen is putting up with it for another week. Thielen reeled in 7 receptions for 130 yards and 2 touchdowns. Cousins had a good day passing albeit against the awful Giants. Cousins was 22-of-27 passing for 306 yards, with two touchdowns and no interceptions. He was actually throwing the ball down the field
I thought the Vikings were a really safe pick heading into the week and it proved right. Minnesota is now 24-9 against the spread coming off a loss. A lot of that has to do with Mike Zimmer. It’s going to be interesting to see how the Vikings season develops the rest of the way on and off the field. Regardless, I think Minnesota will look to draft someone next year.
