Khris Middleton will not be going anywhere in free agency. The three-time All-Star has signed a three-year, $102 million deal with the Milwaukee Bucks, according to NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski.

Middleton, 31, played a massive role in the Bucks’ 2021 NBA Championship run and has been a pillar of the franchise’s success. In Milwaukee, Middleton has thrived alongside Giannis Antetokounmpo and perfectly complements the two-time MVP.
Middleton hit the free-agent market after declining his $40.4 million for the 2023-24 season. While his new deal will sit around $34 million annually, the extra two years will lend him security.
In 2022-23, Middleton averaged 15.1 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 4.9 assists per game while being a great wing defender. The only issue is that he was only able to suit up for 33 games after dealing with several injuries.
The small forward missed the begging of the season after having off-season surgery to repair torn ligaments in his wrist. Middleton then injured his knee in the regular season which hampered his play and contributed, among other factors, to the Bucks’ first-round playoff exit. That injury led to another surgery once the Bucks’ were eliminated from the playoffs.
Middleton is not the only Buck that hit the open market. Although, he is the first to re-sign. Center Brook Lopez is currently a free agent and will likely have plenty of suitors. It would not be a surprise if the 35-year-old opted to leave Milwaukee in favor of one final payday. Additionally, guard Jevon Carter has already left town after signing a three-year, $20 million dollar deal with the Chicago Bulls.
At a minimum, the Bucks will return a core of Antetokounmpo, Middleton and Jrue Holiday as they attempt another title run.
