KFC announces the return of Barstool Radio

Kevin Clancy (aka KFC) has dropped yet another bombshell for Barstool Sports! After Dave Portnoy re-purchased the company Tuesday, we have even more news surrounding their new era. As a founding member back in 2009, Clancy has seen more than almost anyone within this company. That includes the rise and fall of Barstool Radio. Now, KFC will oversee the return of the former Sirius XM program yet again, he announced the news on Twitter:

While it has a new home on YouTube, this is still big news. The old Barstool Radio, formerly on Channel 85 of Sirius XM, died back in January 2021 after a contract extension failed to materialize. They did have a betting show on Westwood One, but that has also made its way to YouTube. The question now becomes if the new show is going to live on only YouTube or if other platforms like Twitch get involved.

As his tweet showed, it will be Feitelberg and Tommy Smokes joining Clancy. This may very well be the watch of the day considering they could go on about pretty much anything. Whether it’s Portnoy’s acquisition of the company, the return of Ben Mintz, or their former partners in Penn Entertainment agreeing to work with ESPN, they have plenty of material to go over.

Fortune Telling?

This new chapter of Barstool is only hours old. No one will truly know what happens next. However, getting Penn out of town and reviving one of the more popular programs since the start of the pandemic are two very important stories. Three of the biggest OGs at the company will now have much more than just New York and Chicago in a frenzy.

KFC is the latest to join in this historic day for Barstool Sports. The butterfly effect that Portnoy begun is showing no signs of stopping.
