Sports Media
Memo to the sports media industry. Can we stop putting people on TV who race bait? It has no place in sports and people who go down this road should be exiled from the industry. Shout out Mina Kimes for being a piece of trash. Shout out Keyshawn Johnson who tries to be like Skip Bayless and Stephen A Smith but isn’t nearly as charismatic.
“What I would say — and I’m just gonna say it — he better hire some Black coaches,” Johnson said. “He better hire some Black coaches. No, no, he better hire some Black coaches, because you gotta got into the homes and convince the mamas — and convince, not daddy — but mommy and auntie that you gonna take care of their [kids].”
I don’t understand why they let people like this on TV. What exactly is the motivation behind this? Not that Belichick has a squeaky clean personal record but to just say that he doesn’t hire minority coaches is just flat out wrong. Jerod Mayo was his defensive coordinator prior to when he got hired to replace Belichick at New England. He also had Brian Flores as his DC before he left for the Dolphins job.
What exactly is the reason for this statement other than it’s a known fact that Belichick clearly voted for Trump (Which that’s up to you the viewer on how you feel about that. That’s not my place… I try to avoid politics at this publication as much as possible). Keep in mind Keyshawn is appearing on a Fox program sooooooo maybe he should look in the mirror if that’s the angle he’s coming from here.
