Kevin Knox Is A Bust

Tell me if you heard this before: The New York Knicks drafted someone completely useless and is a bust. Oh, you have heard that one? I’m not surprised. I’ll give the Knicks credit sometimes, I like RJ Barrett, and Kristaps Porzingis was a good pick (until they traded him?!). However, it’s almost certain that the Knicks will make a dumb pick. This time the man in question is Kevin Knox.

Kevin Knox is a bust. Plain and simple. At least for right now. I am quick to call Knox a bust but not many go to the Knicks and have success. As of right now, as long as he is with the Knicks, he is a bust. His numbers have massively declined in the 2nd year of his career. He is only averaging 7.5 PPG on 37.8% shooting, 1.1 APG, and 3.2 RPG this year. GARBAGE. He makes constant mistakes on defense, including scoring on their own goal. He misses rotations and just looks awful. As the 9th pick in the draft in 2018, it’s just unacceptable.

Being a lottery pick in the draft usually means you know how to play the game of basketball. Once again, I blame the Knicks too. However, Kevin Knox could just be a bust with the Knicks. I can never tell. The Knicks are so damn dysfunctional, I’m not sure who to blame when the Knicks are bad. Sure maybe Kevin Knox isn’t a good fit in New York (he’s not), but maybe he is just bad (also true). If you’re telling me the Knicks couldn’t find his kind of production anywhere, you’d just be lying to yourself. Kevin Knox is a bust. Sure, he could just get better and not being garbage. But I can’t blame him for playing for the Knicks, that in itself is enough to tank anyone’s career.
