Josh Pate: A Rockstar In CFB Media

If you have been reading Vendetta Sports for a while, you have probably noticed that Trey is often very negative. It’s called Vendetta for a reason. If I see an injustice in the sports world, I will attack or one of my hounds on the team will do so. That’s not the goal today. Today we’re handing out compliments because they’re deserved. Josh Pate is a rockstar in the college football media landscape and I’ve failed to find someone better.

It’s so hard finding someone educated that talks about college football. This guy knows his stuff and always has a smart point to make that makes you ponder things. This is really the first year I’ve seen his stuff and I feel confident in saying this guy is easily the best CFB personality that’s out there. In fact, I’m not sure there’s a close second.

If you needed more evidence, just give his CFB playoff video a watch. It’s as spot on as it gets.

Josh Pate is the man. He just gets it in an industry full of dopes that just don’t. His rants are just in lockstep with everything that someone smart should understand about the sport. These rankings are gross and we hate really talking about them. Since people have opened up the can of worms, here’s a truth bomb in your face to tell you exactly why your playoff expansion is BS. It’s well-spoken truth bombs that get dropped constantly.

Of course, that’s just one example. He’s starting to become a must listen for me every single week.

I don’t think anyone understands how hard it is to find someone competent that talks college football. 247 nailed the Josh Pate hire and they’re the only platform that does a respectable job at covering recruiting.
