The Wyoming pro day is on Friday and the expectation is that Josh Allen will blow the doors off the workout. Allen’s workout is going to be overhyped because of the physical tools he has. No one has a bigger arm or better overall measurements than the Wyoming quarterback does. However, the main concern with him is his accuracy after he failed to complete 60 percent of his throws in college.

During a recent interview with SiriusXM NFL Radio, Allen believes that he has fixed his accuracy issues.

“I think that any time I would miss in college, it was largely due to my feet,” Allen said. “In getting with Jordan, I’ve been trying to correct my feet through every throw and make sure that I was sequencing consistently. Once my feet started to clean up, that’s when you started seeing the ball placed in the right positions.”

Allen has been working with quarterback guru Jordan Palmer. Yes, that is the brother of Carson Palmer who oddly enough needs a quarterback and could consider Allen. Palmer has helped Allen with his footwork that led to inconsistency during his college days. There are many arguments to be made in favor of better accuracy in the NFL including the fact that his teammates in college were flat out awful.

It will be interesting to see who pulls the trigger on Allen come draft day. The Browns could consider Allen after general manager John Dorsey took a big arm quarterback in the form of Patrick Mahomes with the Chiefs. The Jets could also be a landing spot since their recent trade with the Colts to move up to the third overall pick. Buffalo and Arizona also figure to be major players for a quarterback.
