Jorge Masvidal has a few things he wants to accomplish here in the near future. He wants to get a fight that will put him immediately back into the Welterweight picture to challenge Kamaru Usman for the belt. But the plans don’t stop there. His next steps are a little more convoluted, he has both Jake and Logan Paul in his sights as fights he wants next. Masvidal publically was in the camp for Jake for his fight against Tyron Woodley, but it appears that friendship has deteriorated. Masvidal told ESPN reporters Sunday night that he would be interested in fighting the both of them inside a boxing ring.
“I’m gonna beat up all the Pauls,” Masvidal said minutes after making an appearance during the All Elite Wrestling pay-per-view event “All Out.” “If they put money in my pocket, that Logan Paul dude, Jake Paul, whoever Paul dudes — if they put money in my pocket, of course I’d like to break some Disney characters’ faces. I’ve been fighting men who have been training since 7, 8 years old to do the same thing to me what I want to do to them. Fighting guys like [the Pauls] is a bonus, man.”
On “The MMA Hour” last month, Jorge Masvidal picked Tyron Woodley to knock Jake Paul out in their fight, something that did not sit well with “The Problem Child”. This coming off the heels of these two being quite friendly leading up to the Ben Askren fight, where Masvidal gave Paul advice leading into that fight.
“Who the f— is this Paul kid?” Masvidal said. “He thinks we’re friends, because I gave him some advice in the Ben Askren fight. Get the f— out of here, bro. I’ll slap you and whoever the f— you want, bro. I’m a fighter. Of course you’re gonna get offended.”
Masvidal, 36, has lost back-to-back Welterweight title fights against current champion Kamaru Usman. He will be meeting with the UFC brass in the next few weeks to get him back into the octagon to try at this quest to get back to the top. I could see a fight between either Leon Edwards or Gilbert Burns on the horizon for “Gamebred”.
Just wanna throw this out there…it’s fuck Jorge Masvidal, and that’s on everything. You suck, you bum.
