Jon Bernthal’s The Punisher is Reportedly Returning to the MCU; Set For ‘Daredevil: Born Again’

Actor Jon Bernthal is reportedly to return to his role as the Punisher in Marvel’s Daredevil: Born Again, according to Gamespot, and will be an important part of the television series’ plot, which is inspired by the comic arc of the same name.

The MCU Add-On

Officially, Bernthal’s Punisher is not a part of the official MCU, yet. There is considerable talk, however, that Daredevil: Born Again will be the launchpad for the Punisher to make his way into the universe proper. With other stars of the series having already made appearances in Spider-Man: No Way Home, and She-Hulk, it’s a logical conclusion that Bernthal will do the same.

Release Date

Daredevil: Born Again is slated to release in the spring of 2024. So, we have a while before the Punisher returns to the streaming screen. For now, though, re-runs will have to do the job.
