John Harbaugh and the rest of the Ravens organization continue to lie to their fan base. They continue to tell you that Lamar Jackson is a blue chip quarterback capable of winning a Super Bowl throwing the ball 40 times a game. It’s a delusional Looney Tunes take but that’s the world we live in.
Harbaugh had his end-of-the-season presser. Some of his quotes are laughable.
In the loss to the Chiefs, Baltimore only ran the ball 16 times and eight of those were pass plays were Lamar took off. Lamar threw the ball 37 times. You’re not winning Conference Title games with that formula if Lamar is your quarterback. Harbaugh defended the team’s approach and basically doubled down that he’d do it again.
“sometimes you need to be willing to get big and run the ball” because the way things played out is “not going to win an AFC Championship Game.”
“When you look at the way the game played out, you can understand it from a football perspective but once you get through all that you come back — You want to run the ball against the Chiefs,” Harbaugh said. “There’s no doubt about it and we did want to run the ball against the Chiefs. We weren’t able get to it.”
And you wonder why I boycotted this team…
Don’t worry, Harbaugh wasn’t done. He wants you to know that Lamar is the best QB in the NFL.
“Lamar Jackson is a phenomenal success … In my opinion, there’s nobody better in this league, especially nobody better for the Baltimore Ravens,” Harbaugh said.
