John Farrell Enjoying Post Baseball Career As A Lobster Fisherman

There are not many people I hate more in the history of the Red Sox than John Farrell. Somehow, Farrell replaced Bobby Valentine and wasn’t much of an upgrade. Farrell did manage to win a World Series but everybody knew the 2013 Red Sox were winning it regardless of who the manager was. That team was just on an unstoppable roll after the marathon bombings.

Farrell was a robot but somehow not a smart one. No decision he ever made ever made sense. Many of the players on the team underachieved. He didn’t know the rule book and tried to pull a pitcher out after one pitch. He pitched Eduardo Rodriguez despite having his knees give out in pre game warm ups. Rodriguez got shelled and then went on the DL right away. I could go on forever.

I have further proof that John Farrell sucks. Farrell spent 2017 with ESPN. He was later fired. Then he spent 2018 with the Reds as a scout. He was later fired. Up until now, nobody knew what that bum was doing. Now we know he is a lobster fisherman.

Farrell earns some of my respect back with this move. Being a lobster fisherman has to be awesome. I would love to go out and try this. I wouldn’t be very good at it because I would immediately eat whatever I caught. According to The Boston Globe’s Stan Grossfeld, Farrell has his own boat and everything. His boat is called the Seaweed. It’s 46 feet long. Farrell wakes up at 3:15 every day to go out fishing.

That has to be the hardest Farrell ever worked at anything. There’s no way he worked hard at being a manger. I’m just glad baseball John Farrell is a thing of the past.
