The 76ers are lost and very frustrated. They have just lost their 4th game in a row and now the locker room is up in arms because of it. Joel Embiid speaks personally for himself and comments on the losing streak via Noah Levick at NBC Sports Philadelphia:
“Losing four in a row sucks, and it doesn’t feel like we’re getting better,” Joel Embiid said. “It is frustrating…
“Well, if it’s not taking a toll on anybody … I care about winning,” Embiid said. “It’s taking a toll on me. All I care about is winning. It sucks. Gotta find a way. We gotta keep fighting.”
“We gotta win, pretty much,” Tobias Harris told reporters… “It’s an easy answer, but it’s the truth. We’ve just gotta figure out a way to come in and grind out a win, get our spirits up, get our vibe back and roll from there. I think winning solves everything, and we’ve gotta figure out a way to put a whole game together and be really sharp in our next game.”
I agree with Tobias Harris, winning solves everything. I know the dedicated fans of the 76ers are already whipping up the trade machine for various players. It is a little premature for that. However, a trade could do them some justice. They are having trouble scoring outside the paint. However, their defense is strong and stout and keeps them in a lot of games. However, teams need both of them to win games and most importantly, the championship. I know Trey Daubert hates the Al Horford and his pairing in Philly. I think he is a great defensive fit if he stops worrying about his role. However, he seems to be the first to go if the 76ers should make any moves to their roster.
