Jerome Myles has completed his flip from USC and committing to Texas A&M. This was reported by 247 Sports on Twitter/X:
Jerome Myles has finally made up his mind to the school he wants to commit to. He started off with commits to Ole Miss and Utah, then to USC, but Texas A&M finally convinced him to commit to the Aggies. Myles credits the persistence of Texas A&M and their coaches to try to convince him to go to A&M despite his commitment to USC. His full quote provided by 247Sports:
“A&M has really continued to push,” Myles told 247Sports recently. “I enjoyed my official visit to College Station in the summer and even though I committed to USC the coaches there have been staying in contact, just checking in with me and making sure I have continued to feel like a big priority for them.”
Jerome Myles was ranked the No.1 recruit coming out of Utah. He’s ranked the 30th best recruit nationally and the 5th best WR in the nation. This makes the 24th commit for the Aggies and puts them ranked at 9 nationally for their recruitment ranking for 2025. Despite the starting QB for the Aggies entering the transfer portal, Myles should have an impact for whoever the QB A&M has starting next year. With Myles size at 6’2 and 210 pounds and speed (reportedly running a 10.36 100m in track), he should be a nightmare for defenses even as a freshman. Mike Elko might have his hands full trying to find a QB for this team but having the 9th recruitment rank for the whole nation can be a sign that they are good things to come for this team.
