The Los Angeles Rams are one game away from the Super Bowl. Sean McVay deserves a ton of credit for leading the Rams to the NFC Title Game. Some people forget that McVay took over for Jeff Fisher not too long ago. Fisher made one trip to the Super Bowl in 2000 when he coached the Titans losing to the Rams by one yard. Despite the fact that Fisher was run out of town for what seems like for good, Fisher wants back in.
Fisher was asked about Mike Smith who retired when he gave this gem of a quote:
“That happens and I wish Mike the best,” Fisher said, via the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. “None of us leave on our own terms. But we can make those decisions, what’s best for us. I feel good. Recharged. I miss the relationship with the players and competing on Sundays.”
The most hilarious part of this was the fact that Fisher truly believes that he was the true mastermind of the Rams. Fisher was the one that set the Rams up for success. Sean McVay turned Jared Goof into Jared Goff but hey, Fisher was the one that deserves all the love.
“I’m really happy for the players that we brought into the program that
are having a chance to compete in the Final Four right now,” Fisher said. “That’s what it is all about. That was our plan as we were building that team. I’m excited for those players having that opportunity.”
The Rams are just a product of Fisher. This is so great. Words can’t describe how big of an idiot Jeff Fisher is. As a rookie, Goff went 0-7 while completing 54 percent, 5 touchdowns, and 7 picks. McVay has elevated Goff to a point where he is playing out of his mind. Will another NFL team give the reigns back to Fisher? Don’t forget, he’s the one that deserves credit for the Rams this year!
