Hey, you’re back. Good to see you again. We’re talking about Missouri tackle, Javon Foster. Want the scoop? Okay, I’ll give it to you. Here is your 2024 NFL Draft Profile on Javon Foster!

I have to start here. I was super impressed with Foster during the Senior Bowl. He held up very well during the practices. The guy just has vice grips for hands. When he got his hands on you, it was over. Foster played really well during the Senior Bowl and should be on more people’s radar.

Foster ran at the Combine but we didn’t get to see his field workout. Foster ran a 5.30, which isn’t the end of the world but it tells a lot of the story. He’s not a freakish athlete. If you’re looking for one of those juiced up tackles at the top of the draft, that’s not Foster. It’s why he’s going to slide compared to a lot of the other guys. He’s also on the older side as a six year college player. 2018 was a redshirt year and 2019 /2020 was basically spent as a reserve. Foster then spent the next three years entrenched as the starting left tackle. 2023 was his best year earning Third-team Associated Press All-American and First-team All-SEC honors. Foster has also been a team captain for Missouri each of the last two years.

I’ll say this again. Mizzou won 11 games last year. When you look at all of the guys their sending to an NFL, you understand it a bit more. Foster was a huge piece to their team. He gave up just one sack in all of 2023 while playing in the SEC. Not exactly an easy thing to do.

Javon Foster is one of my favorite late round targets for offensive linemen. We talked about why he’s not going to go high. I just think he can and will become a very functional player. I have a third / fourth round grade on him as a developmental player that will eventually become a capable starter. I’ll buy stock here.
