Jared Verse: ‘I Hate Eagles Fans’
When the Rams visit the Eagles in Philadelphia for the upcoming playoff game, the fans in Lincoln Financial Field sure have a target in mind to boo… or they will after hearing this news. Jared Verse let the entire world know that he HATES Eagles fans!
“I hate Eagles fans,” Verse told Gary Klein of the Los Angeles Times on Thursday. “They’re so annoying. I hate Eagles fans.”
“I didn’t even do nothing to ’em,” he said. “It was my first time playing. Oh, I hate Eagles fans… When I see that green and white, I hate it. I actually get upset. Like I actually genuinely get hot.”
By the way, Verse has been absolutely incredible as a rookie. The former Florida State product has 4.5 sacks and 76 QB pressures on the season. If you read the draft profile embed, I had a second round grade on him. I should have been way higher. He’s been top 10 pick worthy and a big reason why is because his power has held up at the NFL level. Looking back on it, when he ripped out 31 reps on the bench at the Combine, it should have been the thing to confirm how good he was. Lesson learned there.
Verse, 24, attended Central Columbia High School in Bloomberg, Pennsylvania. Despite his PA roots, I’m quite sure the Eagles fans will make sure to let him know that he made a bad decision here. This sure made the upcoming playoff game more interesting!
