James Harden Is Avoiding A Ring At All Costs

On the eve of the night when the Boston Celtics appear destined to raise Banner 18, James Harden is, of course, at home after losing in the first round of the playoffs. Chickster has been calling Harden a loser for years. Now, the beard is taking his talents of avoiding rings to another level.

Harden was in Italy recently with his girlfriend, Paije Speights. The two were in attendance together at Rajon Rondo’s wedding who married his longtime partner Latoia Fitzgerald.

None of that is important. The drama here comes from the bouquet was thrown, Harden’s girlfriend caught it. Words can’t even describe what happens with Harden’s eyes afterward.

This man Harden doesn’t want a ring of any kind. He’s like the DARE commercial when we were kids. Say NO to Drugs!

This man Harden says no to all rings. No championship rings. No wedding rings. No rings of any kind.

What’s the move here if you’re Speights? She’s a single mother apparently. It is father’s day after all. Harden ain’t ready to win a championship let alone be a step father. After that look he gave at the wedding, he clearly isn’t in this for the long haul. Does she just take as much of his money until she can? Is that the play here cause this relationship clearly isn’t going to work. That look from Harden says everything.
