Jameis Winston Undergoes Lasik Eye Surgery

Jameis Winston

Everybody is screwed now! It’s not too late to delete all of the bad things you said about Jameis Winston. After leading the NFL in passing yards this past year, it looks like we’re going to get an even better version of Jameis in 2020. You thought the 30/30 club was exclusive. Well, now Jameis is a part of the 20/20 club.

Jameis Winston underwent lasik eye surgery to fix his vision. My man can see now! The Tampa Bay Times had the following:

“Is something wrong with Jameis Winston’s eyesight?

“He can’t read the scoreboard but he can see the guys in front of him,” Bucs head coach Bruce Arians said in the final press conference of 2019. “So he’s alright.”

Apparently, all right wasn’t good enough.

Everybody has known Winston is nearsighted since at least his days at Florida State.

Whether it affected his accuracy throwing the football was always a lingering question for the Bucs quarterback.

But one thing is confirmed: Winston recently underwent LASIK surgery to repair his vision.”

Uh oh! You’re done now. We had always joked that maybe Winston didn’t know what team he was throwing the ball to half the team. Maybe he had a problem with vision. Turns out to be the case. Not being able to see the scoreboard is a big problem, not?

Say whatever you want, there’s a good quarterback deep down in there somewhere. If we turn 10 of those interceptions into touchdowns, we’re looking at a monster. If players can experience a downfall in production from snoring, bad vision absolutely affects someone in a sport full of the best athletes in the world.

Big year incoming from Jameis. Year two in the Bruce Arians system and fixed vision? Sounds like a recipe for success. Not to mention that Mike Evans and Chris Godwin are just entering their primes. Add one running back and the Bucs are back!
