Jake Ferguson: So Many Things That I Want To Get Better At

Dallas Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson aims to improve his game before the start of the 2024-25 NFL season.

“To me, I think I’m not even scratching my surface,” Ferguson said, according to ESPN’s Todd Archer. “There’s so many things that I want to get better at and I know I can get better at. We watch film every day of different games, even the practices we’re doing now and I’m like, ‘OK, I can get a lot better still.'”

“In this league you can’t be complacent. You’ve got to just keep going. You’ve got to keep getting better and that’s what I aim to do.”

Jake Ferguson, 25, had a career year last season, with 71 receptions for 761 receiving yards and 5 touchdowns. The tight end was also selected to his first Pro Bowl last season.

Ferguson was a key part of the Cowboys’ team that won the NFC East division and his game showed in the NFL Wildcard game last season. In the game, Ferguson had 10 receptions for 93 yards and three touchdowns in the 48-32 loss to the Green Bay Packers

The Cowboys will continue having Dak Prescott at QB and his connection with Ferguson from last season should continue to grow into the next season. It is just a matter of the Cowboys will finally be able to win something that isn’t the division title.

With Ferguson focusing on improving his game, the Cowboys have added to the offense to help take some of the pressure off his back with the return of running back Ezekiel Elliot.
