IYO SKY has been impressing wrestling fans for a while now. SKY made her presence known at this year’s Clash at the Castle premium live event. SKY, Bayley and Dakota Kai formed Damage CTRL at that event, and ever since then, she has been putting on great match after great match. Most recently, she had a star-making performance at WWE Backlash, going toe-to-toe with Bianca Belair and even had the crowd turning on Bianca. But now she has her eyes set on the Money in the Bank briefcase, and could be the frontrunner to win it.
IYO SKY is reportedly the frontrunner to win the women’s Money in the Bank match, per The Wrestle Blog. At the time of this publishing, there is one more spot left open for the women’s match. So whoever that last person is, could change everything.
Iyo Sky is the namer circulating around backstage as the potential MITB winner for the women’s, now on the men’s side LA Knight name is still loud, Gunther was mentioned at one point to potentially participate and win but the plan was scrap as they are more focus on IC title Run

But as it stands right now, IYO SKY is the reported front-runner to win the match. If SKY wins, it’s likely we will get Asuka versus SKY. They have already teased this match and it makes the most sense.
On the men’s side, Gunther was discussed as a potential winner, but the idea was scrapped. WWE wants reportedly wants to focus on his Intercontinental Championship run, which makes sense because WWE could have had a lot of problems if Gunther won the briefcase while also holding the Intercontinental Championship.
But now the reported favorite to win is LA Knight. The men’s field is set, and this is the first time in Money in the Bank history, that no one in the match is a former world champion.
