I mean, I feel like this is self-explanatory. However, I’ll put it in a post for the people that might be a few fries short of a Happy Meal. Andy Dalton was far from impressive with a stacked receiving core in Dallas last year. They had Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup, and CeeDee Lamb. Yet, what was Andy Dalton’s rank of average points per game for Fantasy QBs? 34th, with a whopping 12.4 points per game. Good God. How does being with the Bears make that better? Invest in Justin Fields rather than Andy Dalton.

The Bears don’t have that well of a run game and really only have Allen Robinson in the WR corps. Defenses will focus on that run game and Robinson to limit Andy Dalton and the Bears’ offense. Justin Fields is just a flat out better QB than Andy Dalton. Fields’ ability to run only makes him that much more valuable. It’s literally a question of when, not if, Fields starts over Dalton. 

Justin Fields might start Week 1, or he might start later in the year (as a Raiders fan, hopefully after Week 5). Whichever, Fields is who you need to invest in for Fantasy. He was one of the best draft picks in the 2021 NFL Draft. With the Bears in contention in the wide-open NFC North because of Aaron Rodgers, Fields may start sooner than expected. The Bears could win the division with Fields, but they aren’t winning shit with Andy Dalton.
