Jimmy Garoppolo is likely done in San Francisco, but how does that effect SimBull investors?

From being Tom Brady’s understudy to being the starting quarterback in the Super Bowl the former second-round draft pick has had an interesting career path. The 49ers traded up to get the third overall pick in this upcoming NFL draft. It is clear the organization is taking a quarterback from this stacked group coming out of college.

He first broke onto the scene starting week 1 of the 2016 season while Brady was serving his suspension. He came in and the Patriots won, and all of a sudden it seemed he had been groomed enough by the famous duo in New England that he could possibly succeed in the league.

He was traded from New England to San Francisco and got the chance to play for Kyle Shanahan, the offensive wizard. He won his first five starts with the 49ers and the trade was paying off. The following season he led the to a 13-3 regular season record and earned a trip to the Super Bowl.

Trade Destinations

I learned to stop being surprised by the Patriots many years ago, and if Jimmy Garoppolo goes there that is a team I am looking to buy on SimBull. They spent so much money this off-season in free agency, and bringing in someone who is already familiar with the staff could be a win for investors. They are currently being traded around $31, and a quarterback who knows how to win in the NFL will increase that price.

This one is probably just as unlikely as being traded to the Patriots, but if Garoppolo somehow ended up being traded to the Steelers that is another team I would invest in. Big Ben’s career is almost over, and if they could end up snagging Jimmy G. to succeed him that could help keep the Steelers competitive for years to come.
