I need to rant first…
I know the universe is constantly against me at all times and today was no different. The lineups need to be in by 12:30 today which is way too early. Jacob Markstrom literally starts every single game and the Flames decided at 12:34 that nah… it’s Vladar today.
To make matters worse, it’s been assumed all week that David Pastrnak is playing Sunday not Saturday. Bruins change their minds and now he’s playing today not Sunday. Yeah, well I couldn’t activate him in time and lost all those damn points and had to cut Darnell Nurse to do it. Oh, yeah, Nurse is hurt now too.
They’re always against me. Keep in mind Brayden Point already missed a game and Dylan Larkin and Patrik Laine got hurt right at the start of the finals where I got screwed. Don’t forget about Freddie Andersen and David Pastrnak missing all those games. No injuries for team Gavin. The universe is always against me. Total nonsense.
Keep in mind the external cheese won’t stop but the haters can’t keep me down. I’m on a war path.
Day Six
Day six should probably be considered a success. No video cause everything kept canceling out. Roope Hintz goals were nullified by Jason Robertson assists. My Barkov and Huberdeau points came at the expense of Jack Cambell. Steven Stamkos scored and had ANOTHER great game that really helped carry us once again. Brayden Point finally chimed in too.
The real story is we only lost 0.5 points off the lead and were at a 2-1 goalie disadvantage. We will take that.
Day Seven
Fellas, someone better check in on the Irish. Make sure their man parts still work cause this is turning into an ass whooping.
The day started off alright. Mikko Koskinen was the goalie today. A pedestrian nine points is whatever. Connor McDavid got two assists to help the cause including one to EEEEEEEEEEEEEvander Kane who is good at hockey and I don’t care what anybody says.
It was a great day. Sebastian Aho and Teuvo Teravainen chipped in with assists. So did Jonathan Huberdeau.
The real heroes of the day were the Tampa Bay Lightning. God they look good right now. Steven Stamkos is healthy and humming on all cylinders. 9.4 points for Stammer and 6.4 points for Brayden… POINT.
The Knights got their heart broken but they gave me all the fantasy points I need. An assist and a goal from the Glass man Pacioretty. Three combined assists from the D pair of Theodore and Pietrangelo.
Few days to go and the lead currently sits at 77. Can the Irish make any sort of a comeback? It was always about respect.
