Giannis Antetokounmpo has been named the cover athlete for the upcoming 2K19 series. The Greek Freak will become the first international player ever to appear on the cover of the game. One year ago, it was Kyrie Irving who showed up on the cover. Kevin Durant, LeBron James, Kevin Garnett, and other superstars have been honored with being on the cover. Giannis has finally arrived in the public’s eye more than ever.

2K Sports announced the decision today.

Giannis appears to be enjoying his offseason drinking Kool-Aid and flirting with the ladies. The Greek Freak is now a star and emerging into a top 5 player at the age of just 23. The former first-round pick from Athens Greece has been a revelation scoring 26.9 points per game on 53 percent shooting. The Bucks couldn’t be more thrilled considering the fact that Antotokounmpo has said he will be loyal to the franchise that drafted him.
