Dynasty / keeper fantasy football leagues should always be played like a stock market. Buy low, sell high. If you’re going to buy into any player, NOW is the time to buy into Gabriel Davis. It’s about as obvious as a call as it gets. You’re not going to go wrong here even in an overpay.
Davis, 23, is going to end up being a big hit for the Bills as a former 4th round pick. Davis is now very entrenched as the secondary target in this high flying Buffalo offense. That means automatic points right there. Stefon Diggs is going to eat but he’s not going to eat everything.
The biggest positive that Davis gets here is the fact that Cole Beasley is gone. Everywhere Beasley goes, he’s an automatic target machine. A year ago, Beasley got 112 targets compared to just 63 for Davis. Guess where those balls are going this year? We’re all probably too low on Davis.
Now is the time to buy. Ignore the Isaiah McKenzie and Jamison Crowder bs. It’s nonsense. Year three is the real time developmental receivers pop. It’s Davis’ turn to become a star. If that four touchdown performance against Kansas City last year wasn’t a precursor for this year, then you’re just not paying attention.
Buffalo is going to score points. If Josh Allen is QB1 and there is no real running back threat outside of a possible James Cook emergence, there are too many balls up for grabs for Davis to not get his. If the touchdown luck is on his side, we’re looking at a possible league winner.
Go get Gabriel Davis. His stock will probably never be lower as long as this situation in Buffalo remains relatively the same. Young and only getting better. Perfect offense to be part of. What am I missing? Why aren’t you in too?
