Fortnite was released on July 21, 2017, and the game still retains a solid player count in 2023. In early March, chapter four: season one will be over and a new season with fresh updates will be available. However, these season updates are not the only way Fortnite keeps its fans entertained. The franchise offers a long list of customizations through skins, pickaxes, gliders and emotes. These skins are based on popular movie franchises, artists, and celebrities with the newest addition going to be Adonis Creed.
The Creed franchise is a movie trilogy starring Michael B. Jordan as Creed. He is the son of Apollo Creed, who was Rocky Balboa’s best friend, in the Rocky movie franchise that Creed took inspiration from. These boxing movies for a new generation have been extremely popular, hence why Fortnite is trying to cash in on a Creed collaboration.
Here, is the new Creed skin below.
Besides the skin, Creed will come with a special pickaxe as well as different accessories. Also, there will be a bionic version of the skin for gamers to use. This should be another fun addition to Fortnite as fans can try to get a victory royal with the new stylish Creed skin.
There will be a competitive cup event for gamers to win the Creed skin and accessories early on March 1. The entire collaboration will be available in the Fortnite store on March 2, and the greatly anticipated Creed lll premieres on March 3.
There is truly no limit to what Fortnite will put in the game as cosmetics. They have had a wide variety of popular culture displayed in the game. There have been NFL, NBA and WWE collaborations. Also, there have been specific collaborations with musical artists such as Travis Scott, Marshmello, The Kid LAROI, Silk Sonic and J Balvin.
However, more than any of these collaborations, I think the coolest ones are the iconic movie franchise present in the game. Fortnite has a plethora of Star Wars, Marvel and DC skins. The game even has some horror movie monsters such as the Predator and the Xenomorph from the Alien franchise.
I remember back in season nine when the John Wick skin was the most hype skin to have now there are over 1,300 skins in Fortnite in 2023 and Adonis Creed is the newest addition to that list.
