Font’s Five is back this week after last week’s slate of bad beats and ridiculous back door covers. Don’t worry we will get right this weekend as last week’s 1-4 Sunday will never happen again. Add Thanksgiving and we went 3-4 so all in all it was not as bad. Our overall record now goes to 17-14-3.
New York Giants +10, Last week the Giants lost Daniel Jones to a hamstring injury and he’s missing at least a game. Colt McCoy takes over at quarterback and against the Seahawks, I’m not worried, and here’s why. Jones was more of a game manager and runner without turning the ball over. Which has been the Giant’s key to success lately. The Giants may not win outright however, I expect a close game as this is lining up as a trap game for Seattle.
Las Vegas Raiders -8.5, The Raiders laid one of hell of an egg in Atlanta last week and really surprised me. However, they go up against the New York Jets and I think Vegas comes of pissed off and firing on all cylinders. I expect the Raiders to really light up the Jets here and get back on track.
Jacksonville Jaguars +10, Last week the Jags hung around with the Browns for most of the game. Now they play a Vikings team that should never be favored by double digits. Take the points and we’ll be able to hit this cover.
New Orleans Saints -3, I do not see the Falcons doing what they did last week again. Hanging 40 up on the board was the biggest fluke of the year. The Saints have been playing really good lately and I expect them to cover and run away with this game.
Indianapolis Colts +3.5, The Colts have been surprising me all season with some of these games they win. It’s time I take them and this week I expect them to roll the Texans. Deshaun Watson has no receivers now since Will Fuller got busted for PED’s. I feel bad for the man, but this game won’t be close.
That’s the five for this week. Let’s hope it’s a lot better than last week. Happy betting everyone!
