The worldwide leader of dopes. That’s what ESPN has become. They have no pride or dignity anymore. At some point, people need to start holding them accountable. In case you missed it, Teven Jenkins was stretchered off in the first quarter after suffering a neck injury this week in the Bears loss to Philadelphia.
In a story by Courtney Cronin, ESPN tweeted out this post in regard to the Jenkins injury:
A: That is for sure not a picture of Teven Jenkins. That picture is very much an image of Equanimeous St. Brown who also left the game via a concussion.
B: How disrespectful is this? It’s one thing to get something wrong. It’s another to just not fix the tweet at all and proceed as if the story isn’t important enough to fix. Any respectable new company would make sure they get information correct when it pertains to a guy being stretchered off.
C: Go read the replies to that tweet. It’s just people blasting ESPN for their share stupidity. Still, the tweet remains up and ESPN continues to just ignore it.
Go ahead. Keep telling yourself that Trey is the bad guy. All I do is try to make this sports world better each and every day. ESPN continues to disrespect this profession and once again we have another perfect example. An offensive lineman who lays his body on the line every single week sufferers a serious injury and ESPN can’t even get the right guy on the cover image. A disgraceful company that continues to lead by poor example.
