Dylan Raiola Commits To Georgia
Georgia wins again? The rich get richer? Use whatever headline you want. Georgia football landed the big fish again (okay, that was the last one) this time being number one quarterback recruit for the 2024 cycle, Dylan Raiola. The quarterback room at Georgia is about to become ridiculous.
Steve Wiltfong at 247 Sports broke the news:

“Georgia is the cream of the crop,” Raiola has told 247Sports in the past. “They do everything with such class and they do everything the right way!”
“I’m attracted to the culture and the standard at Georgia and the more time that went by and the stronger I felt about it,” Raiola said. “There was a lot of silence and a lot of quiet and I just learned a lot throughout this whole process of who I can lean on and depend on and another thing I loved, Georgia is not built on one person or one position group it’s a complete program I gets to be part of.”
Once upon a time, it sure looked like Raiola was heading to Ohio State. Things obviously changed after he de-committed from the University. It also seems like Nebraska had a real shot at this thing. Dylan’s father being a Nebraska alum obviously playing a factor in them being in the mix. Dominic Raiola also attended Nebraska after long NFL career with Detroit.
Georgia is dominating the recruiting trail and Kirby Smart is truly building a powerhouse in Athens. Keep in mind former five star Brock Vandagriff didn’t leave via the portal either. Carson Beck is also a first year starter and may not enter the NFL Draft right away.
