Dwayne Haskins Giggled At How Stupid The Giants Are For Drafting Daniel Jones

Someone needs to check Dave Gettleman. I think it’s fair to question that he legitimately might have Alzheimer’s. The New York Giants did the unthinkable when they drafted Daniel Jones with the 6th pick in the 2019 NFL Draft. New York didn’t just pass on Josh Allen, Ed Oliver, and Devin Bush. The Giants also passed on the much better quarterback, Dwayne Haskins.

Haskins spent the Draft at a bowling ally near his hometown in Maryland. Haskins had the perfect reaction to watching the Giants go with Jones:

I actually screamed at my TV when this happened. I couldn’t believe it. Jones is on my list of draft busts. It’s unbelievable. Jones’ last home game at Duke, Jones lost 45-7 against Wake Forrest. Jones threw for 145 yards. Is this your king? Jones completed 56 percent of his throws in Conference games.

On the other hand, I love this for Haskins. This man is going to be out for blood. This is a serious chip on the shoulder. Haskins gets to play Jones twice a year!

While the Redskins are dysfunctional, having Alex Smith in the room is going to help. Smith is done. His job is going to be to mentor Haskins. Case Keenum is a good bridge quarterback. I think Haskins is a risky pick. I’m not denying that. However, the guy threw 50 touchdowns last year. Haskins was a Heisman Finalist The Giants passed on that for a quarterback who sucks.

The Giants could have taken Jones at 17. Taking him at 6 didn’t make any sense. Well, taking Jones in the first round didn’t make any sense. Somehow we live in a world where the Giants have become the Jets. The Lakers have become the Clippers. The world is backwards right now.
