There’s a pretty decent list of those in the MMA community who are disliked: Josh Koscheck, Colby Covington, Rousimar Palhares and more. But there might not be a more hated and more bona fide Charmin soft human than Dillon Danis. He went from the posse of Conor McGregor to an absolute nobody, and he only has himself to blame. His latest call to infamy is backing out of the KSI fight, one in which he likely never intended to follow through.
Danis is sighting he was nursing a knee injury, but the likely story is that he was underprepared and not in fighting shape.
I mean, this dude is the definition of fake tough. He hasn’t fought professionally since 2019. Even then, his fights were complete snooze-fests. He’s not an entertaining fighter when he actually fights. Want a list of things that were relevant the last time Danis fought?
He’s an absolute clown. If you haven’t watched his interview with Ariel Helwani, I would highly recommend it. He’s too stupid to understand he’s getting slaughtered the ENTIRE TIME. He’s so confident he was getting the best of Helwani, meanwhile, all of social media is clowning Danis. He’s a laughingstock of the MMA community. No one takes him seriously and he’s constantly getting punked by guys like Nate Diaz and Anthony Taylor.
I’m not going to lie, it’s probably for the best that Dillon Danis backed out of the KSI fight. KSI may not be as polished (which is being generous) as a guy like Jake Paul but he would’ve embarrassed Danis.
I’d tell him to retire because he brings nothing to the fight game, but that would be a lie! He brings opportunities like this to clown on him some more. Danis reminds me of Jorge Masvidal, someone you know I also enjoy clowning on. He is falling into irrelevancy, and I am here for it, and I know I’m not alone.
