Many of you who are frequent visitors of this site already know I’m going to be a party pooper here so be ready for that. If you disagree, the stock notes are right there for you below. Without further ado, here is your 2025 Draft profile on Derrick Harmon!

NFL Draft Stock Report: Week 7, Conference Championships, Rose Bowl

Harmon, 21, was a three star prospect coming out of high school. The Detroit, Michigan, native was the 98th ranked DL in the country and 24th ranked player in the state. After spending three years at Michigan State, Harmon finished up his final campaign at Oregon.

The timeline looks like this. 2021 was a redshirt year. 2022 he started five of 12 games as a rotational piece. 2023 he was mostly a starter but only notched 1.5 sacks in a mediocre season. 2024 was the big breakout with Oregon posting 45 tackles, 10.5 TFLs, five sacks, four PBUs, two forced fumbles). The 43 pressures number is also obviously really good.

In the games I watched, I saw maybe a good college player. Definitely not an elite one. It’s also one year wonder syndrome, given that he really was a nobody at Michigan State.

When it comes to the Combine, I couldn’t have been less impressed. Just eye test wise, I refuse to believe anybody thinks this is a first round player. The movement skills are not twitched up elite quality. 4.95 isn’t terrible front line speed, but that’s about all there is.

I really don’t get this one. I think this is a round 4-5 depth piece. I would be shocked if he actually lives up to the round one status he’s being mocked as.
