Dave Hulu Review

Back with more quarantine reviews, this time we’re giving Dave a review. I’m through the first 8 episodes in the first season and I must say I’m very impressed with the show. The show details the story of Dave Burd or better known as Lil Dicky. If you have a Hulu account, Dave is a show you’re going to watch.

Let’s be honest, outside of Family Guy, what the hell do people watch on Hulu? Dave is a show that should bring in an audience. The show’s best quality is its humor. Episode 3 I was dying laughing. Lil Dicky is a satirical rapper who is out to prove he’s one of the best alive. Still, the show does a really good job making funny moments in every episodes.

The only thing I don’t know is how much of the storyline is a true story or not. One story that is apparently true is Dave’s friend GATA. He turns into Lil Dicky’s hype man throughout the show.

The other quality the show has is bringing famous celebrities in the show. I did not expect Kourtney Kardashian in the show. You don’t expect certain celebrities to be in the show and then they appear. It’s a cool wow moment.

Dave is already the most watched show on FX. They are short 25 minute episodes you can binge through. If there’s anything that stands out, it’s the humor. Interactions with his parents among other things are down right hilarious. If you’re looking for a show to make you giggle, this is it. I didn’t know a ton about Lil Dicky prior to the show but I’m now a fan.
