Is Dan Arnold A Fantasy Sleeper With Carolina?

Darnold to Arnold! Have to admit; that puppy has a good ring to it. You can never leave a stone unturned in the never ending pursuit of trying to find the next fantasy tight end sleeper. Panthers’ new tight end Dan Arnold could easily become that guy in 2021.

Arnold, 26, has bounced around the league a bit playing for New Orleans and Arizona. Arnold has mostly been a depth piece but transitioned to tight end this past year in Arizona. The results? Not too shabby. 31 receptions for 438 yards and four touchdowns isn’t a bad first year at tight end.

Arnold signed with Carolina this offseason, and boy do they need someone to take the reigns there. Since Greg Olsen left, it’s been a black hole. Ian Thomas isn’t the answer. New draftee, Tommy Tremble, is best known for his blocking ability.

The buzz around training camp is that Dan Arnold is blowing the doors off the place:

Sam Darnold is going to give this Panthers offense a big boost. DJ Moore and Robby Anderson will get their fair share. However, the 6-foot-6 Arnold could become an interesting weapon in this offense. It might be time to start paying attention.
