After being injured in the 2020 NFL season, there should be no doubt that Dak Prescott returns to being a top Fantasy QB. In 2019, he was a top 5 fantasy QB. Even after 5 games in the 2020 season before getting injured, he had the top average points per game with 27.1. Dak might not have finished as the top Fantasy QB as Josh Allen did, but damn he would have been close.
What’s not to like about Dak again this season? The Cowboys offense has all the weapons still with CeeDee Lamb, Amari Cooper, and Michael Gallup. While the Cowboy’s defense should be better, it’ll still be a work in progress. The Cowboys will have to throw to keep up and win games. Ezekiel Elliott will still be a receiving option in the backfield for Dak as well. Blake Jarwin and Dalton Schultz aren’t the worst TEs I’ve ever heard of either. This offense is loaded with offense talent.
I can’t write any Dak Prescott article without taking some type of dig at him. He’s an average QB with offensive talent that makes him seem elite. He’s one of the most overrated QBs I’ve seen, but shit as a Fantasy QB, he’s one of the best in the league and there’s no denying that. The Cowboys should win the NFC East without a doubt. This offense is just too good to not shit all over them. While the Cowboys may have some trouble with AFC West this year, their offense will keep them competitive which only means more fantasy points for Dak. Dak Prescott should be a lock for a top 5 fantasy QB in 2021.
