Cowboys defensive end Randy Gregory played 2 games for the Cowboys this season. His 14 game suspension came at the hands of violating the substance abuse policy. It appears Gregory put his hand back on the hot stove receiving a one-year ban for his 3rd violation. The suspension was inevitable since his failed drug test back in November. ESPN’s Adam Schefter broke the story.
Randy Gregory suspended without pay for at least one year for violating NFL Policy and Program for Substances of Abuse.

Gregory’s appeal obviously did not go his way which allowed him to play in the final two regular season games. The former 2nd round pick in 2015 has recorded just one sack in 14 career games. The Dallas Cowboys playoff run in 2017 will have to continue without one of their pass rushers.
