Could Julian Lewis Flip From USC To Colorado?

Five-star quarterback (No. 3 in the country) Julian Lewis has been committed to USC since August of last year. However, that has not stopped him from taking official visits to multiple schools this year, most notably taking multiple visits to Colorado. Could we see a scenario where Deion Sanders lures Lewis away from USC?

In the photo above, that is Julian Lewis sitting on a throne with current QB Shedeur Sanders handing him a set of keys, symbolizing Sanders passing off Colorado to Lewis. Lewis has taken three official visits to Boulder since the start of the year, so there is clearly interest on both sides. He had this to say about his most recent visit.

Full quote via SI.com:

“It was a cool weekend,” Lewis told SI. “I met a lot of good people while I was in Boulder and definitely noticed the things they did around town.”

He did go on to say that he is officially shutting down his recruitment. Could this mean that a decision to flip to Colorado could be coming soon? Has he decided to stay with Lincoln Riley and USC? I know for a fact Riley certainly hopes so, as Justus Terry decommitted and Isaiah Gibson did so as well but has already committed to Georgia. This could be a disastrous month for USC if they were to lose out on Julian Lewis as well.

Lewis has taken visits to Indiana, Auburn and Colorado all while being committed to USC. If any school could flip Lewis from SoCal, it would appear to be Colorado. Lewis would not have much competition for the starting job next season, as the guys being Shedeur Sanders currently are Ryan Staub, Walter Taylor III and Destin Wade. This would be a massive get for Coach Prime and would set this team back on track from a recruiting standpoint.
