The train doesn’t stop. We’re getting as many of these done as we can before the big day. Next up on the 2025 NFL Draft profile series to-do list is Kansas cornerback Cobee Bryant. We’ve got you covered on all of the juicy details you want to know!

NFL Draft Stock Report: East-West (2), (4)

Bryant, 23, was a three star recruit during the 2020 cycle. That includes being ranked as the 64th corner and 27th ranked player in the state. Checking in at 6-foot, 180, Bryant spent all four years with the Jayhawks.

The Kansas product took over as the full time starter midway through his freshman season. 13 career picks in his collegiate career isn’t a terrible number. He’s been First-team All-Big 12 each of the last three years. 35 career PBUs is also a really nice number too. So is an opposing passer rating of 62.7 this past season. Here’s another positive. The guy has an edge to him. He cares and has a mental physicality to his game. He was really good during the East-West practices.

The downside is that he’s a toothpick and really isn’t that good. 4.53 speed is fine, but his Combine performance was dreadful. One of the worst at the entire event. Over the last two years, he’s been hit with 12 penalties. Don’t worry, I’m not done. This past year, Bryant allowed 15.8 yards per reception in 2024. He’s been a decent tackler in the Big 12, but how is that frame going to work at the NFL level?

I’m not overly high on Cobee Bryant. I’d be willing to take him in the 6th-7th round range as DB depth filler, but that’s about it.
