Have you ever heard the term “JAG”. Otherwise known as – just a guy? That’s Tune. I talked about it during the Senior Bowl but he was just kinda there. No real wow factor in anything he did. Just a straight C across the board in most attributes.

The production is really the sticking point. Being a four-year starter matters. Yes, he’s 24 on the older side. You basically have to ask yourself if Tune can be the next iteration of Case Keenum. The only problem there is the fact that Keenum had WAY more production in college. Nevertheless, a 40 touchdown campaign in 2022 is nothing to sneeze at. The accuracy has also improved with the last two years being both above 67%.

Former three star recruit from Texas. The Texas factor means something to me. They have produced gritty quarterbacks that can play before. The mobility is also a plus. 4.64 is more than good enough. 37.5-inch vertical is even crazier for a quarterback. The problem is I never really see that kind of twitch on the field. Doesn’t have the quickest release. The footwork never feels elite. He’s just a steady hand that kinda gets the job done even if it doesn’t always look pretty.
