Christian McCaffrey Should Be the #1 Pick In All Fantasy Leagues

I say this from experience. I was picking 3rd in my fantasy league last year and I was gauging interest on who the first two guys were taking. If you remember correctly, most fantasy leagues were hyped around 3 RBs: Saquon Barkley, Alvin Kamara, and Christian McCaffrey. I secretly wanted CMC the most. It just turns out that it went Saquon first, Kamara second, and CMC fell to my lap at 3. While I didn’t win my fantasy league, Christian McCaffrey scored 160 more points than the next RB, Aaron Jones, in ESPN PPR scoring format. If you have the #1 pick, don’t be dumb, pick CMC without hesitation.

Christian McCaffrey 2019

It’ll be hard for Christian McCaffrey to repeat his performance from 2019. He had a rare 1,000 rushing and 1,000 receiving yard season. Top that off with 19 TDs total and 116 receptions, Good Lord. He had discussions as MVP for Christ’s sake!. Christian McCaffrey actually had about 60 points more than the 2nd guy to score all the fantasy points, Lamar Jackson. What makes Christian McCaffrey so dangerous is that he is just as much of a receiver as he is a running back. He actually had the 2nd most receptions of the entire NFL, only 2nd to Michael Thomas. You’re literally getting a 2 for 1 package in Christian McCaffrey.

Final Assessment

DO NOT BE STUPID, don’t listen to fantasy experts, don’t listen to your dumbass friends, unless they all think that CMC should unequivocally go #1. Don’t use opinions, use facts. He had the 2nd most receptions of the entire NFL. He had 19 TDs combined, and he had more than 1,000 yards in receiving and rushing. How much do you expect his fantasy production to drop? Not enough. CMC is the surefire thing in this draft, you NEED to get him as soon as you can in your fantasy league.
