Chris Castellani Leaves Barstool Sports
Another one bites the dust. Chris Castellani did great things at Barstool. Especially at the MLB level that has been criminally undercovered for years at Barstool. His time with the company is over as he put out a social media video explaining his decision.
“I just got off the phone with Dave [Portnoy] and we have mutually agreed to part ways regarding my time at Barstool. I am no longer an employee at Barstool Sports,” Castellani said in a video posted to his X (formerly Twitter) account on Friday. “Oh man, I feel relieved today. This is best for both sides. I totally understood it from Dave’s point of view and I’m very excited for what’s next. I just want to say thank you to Dave. I’m very grateful for this opportunity.”
I really only have one takeaway from all of this. He looks terrible. I mean… just compare the cover image to what he looks like in that video. Castellani admittedly has substance abuse issues. Do I even need to say anything else? His face tells the story. Like seriously… does nobody else think he looks like absolute trash? Someone needs to check on this guy.
A feud with scumbag Francis led to his demise (Awful announcing put out a great blog recapping those events. If you care about what led to his exit, I advise that you give that blog a read). That guy is such a cancer in more ways than one. Oh, well. Good luck to Chris in whatever he does next. More importantly, hopefully, he gets the help he needs.
