Chip City In New York City Is On The Rise

Chip City is one of New York City’s great spots for a deliciously large cookie. These cookies are big, chewy, and sweet. With a size that’s similar to Levain’s iconic cookie, these are just as good and exciting to try when visiting the city.

They have a hefty array of flavors to choose from. Similar to Crumbl, they have a flavor rotation of the week!

This week’s flavors are triple chocolate, confetti, white chocolate macadamia, caramel apple cider donut, horchata and, of course, chocolate chip. The range of flavors caters to everyone’s taste. Whether you like more cinnamon autumn flavors or a super sweet birthday cake flavor, you will be guaranteed to snack on something that fits your palate.

Out of all the unique and exciting flavors, the classic chocolate chip was still my favorite. You can’t go wrong with the tartness of the semi-sweet chocolate chips that contrast with the sugar dough. The crunchy exterior with a gooey, warm, sugary interior makes it the perfect cookie.

Chip City’s cookies are a great size that lets you enjoy the cookie longer. The chocolate chips had a nice semi-sweetness to them that wasn’t overbearing, but the cookie dough itself added an extra layer of that sugary bite that a cookie needs. The cookie wasn’t too crunchy, as so much of it is that warm interior dough that melts in your mouth. 

Chip City has locations in New Jersey, Connecticut, Florida and New York. It can be seen on many blocks in NYC, so I would definitely recommend checking it out. It’s pretty accessible to any New Yorker. For just $5 a cookie, it’s great to grab a cheap treat after work or hanging with friends!
