Charlotte Hornets launch jersey patch partnership with MrBeast

Jersey patches have always been talked about across sports. Combine that with a YouTube icon like MrBeast, it’s a match made in heaven. The Charlotte Hornets announced Monday that their newest jersey patch–MrBeast’s chocolate company: Feastables.

Jimmy Donaldson, otherwise known as MrBeast, has become a global icon over the past few years, generating billions of views and millions of subscribers across all of his channels. It’s climbed up to almost 350 million followers across all social media platforms.

Donaldson is no newcomer when it comes to advertising his brand. MrBeast’s brand has grown so big that, in fact, he has marketed his YouTube channels in seven other languages outside of English. Now, the Hornets will feature the Feastables logo on their uniforms and media backdrops for press conferences this season.

Donaldson’s following has gotten so big that he has started multiple companies–one being Feastables. Donaldson launched the company back in Jan. of 2022, releasing three flavors of chocolate bars. But because of the wide range of popularity, they’re up to six now.

Outside of chocolate bars, Feastables have gummy candies as well. They named themselves after Donaldson’s friend and fellow content creator, Karl Jacobs, with Donaldson naming them Karl gummies.

MrBeast’s partnership is one of the new moves Hornets ownership has made in the past few months. After NBA Hall-of-Famer Michael Jordan sold the team in June, the Hornets are taking new and creative steps for their franchise.

The Hornets look to bounce back from a season ridiculed with injuries last season. Charlotte will open up the season against the Atlanta Hawks on Oct. 25th at 7:00 p.m. ET.

What do you think of the Feastables addition? How does it look? Let us know in the comments below.
