Vendetta Champions League Pool

Champions League resumes on Thursday! The competition has become more intense with it moving to a one-game elimination. We wanted to do something fun. So, some of the staff members at Vendetta Sports Media are participating in a Champions League Pool. Everyone has different picks and predictions. So, here is the rundown of everyone’s picks.

Trey Daubert

For the second games of the round of 16, Trey has chosen some interesting picks. He has taken Juventus over Olympique Lyonnais, Real Madrid over Manchester City, Bayern Munich over Chelsea and Napoli over Barcelona.

For the quarterfinals, Trey has chosen a more popular route. He has chosen Juventus to beat Real Madrid, Bayern over Napoli, PSG over Atalanta and Atletico Madrid to beat Leipzig.

In the semi-finals, PSG will beat Atletico and Bayern will beat Juventus.

Trey has chosen PSG to be the overall winner of this year’s Champions League.

Paul Tregunna

Paul has chosen a creative path with some popular picks, with some underdog picks. To complete the round of 16, Paul has chosen Juventus over Lyon, Man City over Real Madrid, Bayern over Chelsea and Napoli over Barcelona.

For quarterfinals, Paul expects Man City to win over Juventus, Bayern to beat Napoli, Atalanta to beat PSG and Atletico over Leipzig.

Then Paul’s semi-finals picks are Bayern to beat Man City and Atletico to beat Atalanta.

This leaves Bayern and Atletico in the final. Paul expects Bayern to win it all.

Alex’s picks follow the pattern of the more popular teams. For his round of 16, Alex has Juventus, Man City, Bayern and Barca to win.

Then he has Juventus to beat Man City, Barca to beat Bayern, PSG over Atalanta and Leipzig over Atletico for the quarterfinal.

In the semi-final, Alex has chosen Juventus over Barca and PSG over Leipzig.

In the final between Juventus and PSG, Alex has chosen PSG to win it all.

Gavin Daly

Gavin’s round of 16 winners includes Juventus, Man City, Bayern and Barca. Then for this group’s quarterfinal, Gavin has picked Man City to beat Juventus and Bayern over Barca. On the other side, Gavin chose Atalanta over PSG and Atletico over Leipzig.

For the semi-finals, Gavin has picked Man City over Bayern and Atletico over Atalanta.
