Cam Ward Signs With Under Armour

Soooo, I’m not really sure how this works because less than a year ago, Cam Ward signed an NIL deal with Adidas. I guess that only applied to when he played for Miami, because now the new Titans signal caller is signing a new deal with Under Armour.

Conor Orr of SI.com has reported that Cam Ward has signed a deal with Under Armour. Ward joins Missouri wide receiver Luther Burden III, South Carolina safety Nick Emmanwori, Texas wide receiver Matthew Golden, and Alabama offensive lineman Tyler Booker as the other prospects from this class that the brand has also inked to a deal.

Under Armour also put out this press release regarding the news of the athletes they signed from the 2025 NFL Draft:

“Signing this class of elite players is more than a milestone, it’s a statement of who we are and where we’re going. These athletes are pushing the game forward in every sense, and we’re all-in on helping them reach the next level — with the best athlete and product innovation, and a brand that believes in their rise.”

Ward, 22, becomes the first number one overall pick to sign with Under Armour since Cam Newton did so back in 2011. Say whatever you want about Ward, his draft selection was well deserved this past year after tossing for 4,313 yards and 39 touchdowns in 2024 with the Canes. It’s safe to say his decision to transfer to Miami instead of entering the draft last season was a good one, huh?
