The second season for popular battle royale game mode for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Warzone, dropped on Feb. 15. The season is expected to include new skins, weapons and more for players to use and compete with each other with on the battlefield.
In a blog by the Call of Duty team, the content of the new season was brought into greater clarity. Alongside the new weapons and skins, the season is set to feature an all-new operator for the game mode. Ex-Special Forces officer, Daniel “Ronin” Shinoda, will be included for free for players who bought the season two battle pass or the battle pass bundle.
The content for the season will be locked behind sectors. The more players play, the more content will be unlocked. With the final sector including some of the more valuable loot, including rare weapons and skins, as well a rare skin for Ronin.
Equally important are some of the new bundles that are to be added to the game. In addition to some of the more generic bundles, special ones for Valentines Day will also be added, giving players more ways to customize their weapons and operators.
The new season is sure to draw in both longtime fans as well as newcomers to the Warzone game mode. Both from the new content added as well as just the sheer popularity this game mode has within the Call of Duty community.
