Happy Easter. The 2025 NFL Draft profile series doesn’t stop just because it’s a holiday. Up next is Tulane defensive back Caleb Ransaw, so let’s get right to the good stuff.

NFL Draft Stock Report: Senior Bowl (3), Game

Ransaw, 22, was a two star recruit out of the state of Alabama coming out of high school. He was the 108th overall player in the state and stayed close to home playing for Troy for four years. Ransaw transferred to Tulane to wrap up his college career. For anyone who cares, Ransaw also has NFL bloodlines and is the cousin of Dre Kirkpatrick.

The Tulane product had a fantastic pre-draft process. He was really good at the Senior Bowl. Then continued the momentum with a strong Combine as well. Ransaw checks in at 5-foot-11, 197, with a tick over 30 inch arms. The pure movement skills just look really good. He ran a 4.33 with incredible leaping numbers while showing sweet feet and bend. Oh, and how about 16 bench reps too, because why not!

More than anything, it feels like Ransaw can be a jack of all trades kind of guy. He played safety at the Senior Bowl. In college, he played a ton of slot corner. It feels like some sort of role where he can be a deep safety and nickel corner will be his home at the next level.

How about this number too. Ransaw has just six total missed tackles over the last three years. From everything I’ve seen, he’s been a reliable tackler in college. Not a ton of interception production, but he has speed and physicality to his game.
