Does Cade Otton Have Future Dynasty Value?

Fantasy football managers know the struggle. If you don’t have Travis Kelce, you basically don’t have a tight end. Who else is really thriving at the position? It’s dart throw city finding a tight end to the point where Taysom Hill is about as good as it gets. Literally. When it comes to dynasty managers, Cade Otton is someone that we need to start.

The only downside here is that when it comes to dynasty, it doesn’t help to know that there’s uncertainty at quarterback. Even if Tom Brady keeps playing, returning to Tampa seems out of the question. If Brady was in his prime, investing in Otton would feel like a way smarter bet.

We’re in Week 14 already somehow. For tight ends, putting together a stat line that resembles anything is a positive sign. It’s hard to even contribute as a rookie tight end. The fact that Otton is doing that is a really good sign. Thus far on the 2022 season, Otton has 32 receptions, 309 yards, and two scores. That production, of course, has picked up since Otton has made his way up the depth chart. He’s since passed Kyle Rudolph and Cameron Brate as the number one option.

Otton was a guy who was a bit of a mystery for me heading into the draft process. Big body that wasn’t much of an athlete. However, it’s clear right now that he can at least play and the coaching staff is liking what he brings to the table. Isn’t a civ in the blocking game either.

Remember the name. I guess that’s the point of the exercise. It’s not a bad name to invest at tight end if you’re desperate at the position. Down the line, Otton could very well be a top ten guy. That’s the way he’s trending. It’s not out of the realm of possibility anyway.
