Buy Low Sell High Fantasy Football 2022 Week 4

Week 4 is in the books. We saw an insanely unexpected shootout between the Seahawks and Lions, and the Chargers and Bills getting back on track with wins. If you read last week’s buy low sell high list, you ideally bought low on Breece Hall and Joe Mixon. Breece Hall is looking more like the workhorse in this offense, and Mixon finally found paydirt this week. Fantasy football 2022 is a toss-up sometimes, but taking advantage of poor performances is how to win.

Buy Low

Christian Kirk

The Eagles stomped Jacksonville in Philly with strong winds and rain going on. Trevor Lawrence fumbled the ball four times and the Eagles dominated the time of possession. Christian Kirk finished this matchup with just two catches for 60 yards. His dominant nine targets make it clear he’s still Lawrence’s favorite target in this underrated offense. Before Week 4, Kirk accumulated 15, 23, and 16 fantasy points in the prior three weeks. Kirk will get back on track with cakewalk matchups against the Texans and Colts in the next two weeks.

James Conner

James Conner is someone I may wait to buy on until after next week’s daunting matchup against the Eagles. But this Cardinals offense may be on the way up. Kyler and the offense were humming in the second half against the Panthers. I won’t say for sure that they’ll be the high-powered offense we had hoped to see before the season started, but the imminent return of DeAndre Hopkins will only help. James Conner is the goalline back who receives decent work in the passing game on a potentially top 10 offense. Sign me up.

Sell High

Austin Ekeler

This was the easiest player to put on the buy low sell high list this week. Austin Ekeler exploded in Week 4 to the tune of over 100 yards and three touchdowns. This was the first rushing score for the Chargers all season, only mustering it against a lowly Texans team. Ekeler hadn’t averaged over three yards per carry a single time this season before Sunday. The Chargers don’t get the Texans every week, and if Ekeler isn’t receiving 10 targets a game, he just won’t put up the numbers you need. If you can pull off Ekeler for James Conner and Christian Kirk, you’d be making out like a bandit.

Leonard Fournette

Putting Leonard Fournette on here is a gamble. He could potentially be a buy low if the Fournette owner paid attention to the work Rachaad White got against the Chiefs. Per PFF, Rachaad White got all the short yardage and goalline looks. At the same time, this game was out of hand early as the Buccaneers played from behind for the entirety of it. Thankfully Leonard Fournette found paydirt and had a decent fantasy football finish with 15 points. Rachaad White may be getting more looks sooner rather than later. Sell Fournette now while you still can.

Trading in fantasy football can make or break your season. Suppose you can take advantage of when to buy low sell high on a player. In that case, you’ll be giving yourself a significantly better advantage as the season goes on, ideally to a fantasy football championship.
